Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

● Ensure systems and services are in good system health
● Ensure delivery of system updates to production
● Work closely with QA on system releases
● Provide Level 2/3 technical support (identify, resolve and restore
application/platform-related issues)
● Ability to perform root cause analysis
● Ability to product tools/scripts to automate task/workflow and improve efficiency and reduce/eliminate human-related error
● Collaborating with developers to make sure systems meet requirements and conform to best practices
● Ability to perform system replication, backup and restore
● Responsible for system and data security
● Comfortable in using CLI (Command Line Interface)
● Ability to read and understand CLI documentation from the likes of AWS or any service/utility providers

Requirements & Skills
● Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix administration or macOS
● Hands-on experience working with database (SQL or NoSQL)
● Experience in scripting languages (Bash, Javascript, Python, Ruby or related
language)
● Experience working with Cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, or related services) is a
plus
● Experience with DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and Elasticsearch is a plus
